2026 Bicentennial MC Yearbook

A New Legacy is the 2025-2026 Mississippi College Yearbook. It is a 200+ page publication created to commemorate Mississippi College’s bicentennial year and the present student body. Developed over the course of eight months; from initial planning in Summer 2025 to final production in February 2026, this project reflects a collaborative effort in storytelling, layout design, and brand consistency.

As part of the editorial team, I contributed to the visual direction and layout of the book, helping shape a cohesive design system that balanced modern aesthetics with historical influence. A key concept throughout the yearbook was the integration of archival elements, including 100+ year-old photographs featured in a dedicated throwback spread, as well as original sketches sourced from early editions of the yearbook. These historical details were thoughtfully incorporated into the cover and section dividers, reinforcing the theme of legacy and continuity.

The final publication will be distributed to students in April 2026, serving as both a record of the academic year and a tribute to Mississippi College’s enduring story. A New Legacy highlights the intersection of past and present, emphasizing how each generation contributes to the evolving identity of the university.
